This article was posted on a blog, which is provided by a website, which is hosted on a server, which is some “computer” miles and miles away from where I originally wrote it. You are accessing it through a computer, or, most likely, through your phone - clicking on a link which sends a request through the air to the nearest DNS server, which forwards your request to a different server and so on and so forth until you reach the server this website is hosted on, and then my specific blog is fetched, sent back through space into your device, where it is loaded with designs and fonts and all these nice headings.

I was walking around the mall a few weeks ago, looking for something to satisfy my desire for novelty, when I stumbled upon a music store. Now, I’m no stranger to walking around the store and flipping through the different CDs, spotting albums I know and balking at the price of those I don’t, only to leave empty handed. As I was making my way to the exit, I suddenly saw they had a discount section. Cheaper than the small cup of coffee I had at the neighboring café, a green case called out to me from its place on the shelf. Something about the bleak song titles resting against a calm green background, decorated by bright red flowers, drew me in. Purchase in hand, I carried the album carefully all the way home, where I plugged it into my external CD reader and buckled in...
